The 5 Most Ridiculous Lines from Meghan McCain's "America, You Sexy Bitch"

McCain

Meghan McCain, daughter of Sen. John McCain, arrives at Perez Hilton's Birthday Party in West Hollywood, Calif.

We found a gem in the Whispers mailbox today: Meghan McCain and Michael Ian Black's new book "America, You Sexy Bitch."

The bio begins: "She is a single, twentysomething, gun-loving, Christian, Republican writer and blogger... He is a married, forty-year-old, gun-fearing, atheist, Democrat comedian."

[See: Today's political cartoons]

The two "barely know each other," but "they are about to change the way politics is discussed in America" â€" by finding the common ground between Democrats and Republicans. On an RV roadtrip across America.

Needless to say, it isn't Shakespeare.

Whispers has rounded up 5 of the most ridiculous lines â€" from Meghan McCain's portion of the book â€" presented below deliberately without context:

1. "Strippers. Strippers. Strippers. What is a proper trip to Vegas without strippers? Or excuse me, exotic dancers."     (page 41)

2. "It's like the first time you got to second base, right?"    (page 25)

3. "If you've ever seen the X-Men movies, you know they're about a group of mutants who are the next wave of human evolution. They've got special powers, and if left unchecked they will eventually wipe out humanity as we know it. That's how I feel about Mormons." (page 61)

4. "Does it cross my mind that entering a stranger's house and smoking marijuana might not be the smartest thing to do? Yes, of course it does, but I like Glen.., He is also flirting with me." (page 121)

5. "Dierks Bentley is a sexy man with a sexy bass player. Country musicians are typically really sexy. It's just how it is." (page 191)

For those who want to read McCain's musings in their entirety â€" offset by Black's more thoughtful commentary â€" "America, You Sexy Bitch" is out on shelves today.
