Since a judge revoked his bail and ordered George Zimmerman back to jail, donations to the online defense fund of the accused shooter of Trayvon Martin have spiked, reports ABC News.
Zimmerman's online defense fund has been received about $1,000 a day since a judge sent him back to jail upon learning of the money in the online fund, according to his attorney Mark O'Mara.

After being charged in the murder of 17-year-old Martin, Zimmerman created a donations website to help him pay legal and living expenses associated with the case. The Florida judge that originally set Zimmerman's bail was not aware that he had raised more than $200,000 through that fund, and set bail at $150,000. Zimmerman was released after paying 10 percent of the bail with money from his family, but was returned to jail Friday after prosecutors presented tapes of Zimmerman discussing the money in the fund with his wife.
O'Mara, Zimmerman's attorney, will seek a new bond hearing now that Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. is aware of the online fund. Lester told the court he would wait to increase the bond until he knows more about his authority to do so and about the fund itself.
